About
Matthew Sherlock brings a unique combination of legal, financial, and governance expertise to personal risk insurance advice.
Originally qualified as a solicitor with a Bachelor of Laws, Matthew specialised in insurance law, providing him with a deep understanding of policy structures, claims processes, and risk management. This legal background gives Matthew a level of technical insight that strongly informs his advice approach and allows him to advocate effectively for clients.
After completing a Diploma of Financial Planning, Matthew transitioned into financial advice and now focuses exclusively on personal risk insurance. He works with high‑income professionals, business owners, young families, and corporate clients to structure and manage insurance solutions across life insurance, total and permanent disability, trauma cover, income protection, and business expenses cover.
Matthew is also a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, reflecting his strong understanding of governance and the commercial environment in which many of his clients operate. This experience is particularly valuable when advising on business protection strategies, including buy/sell arrangements and key person insurance.
Outside of his professional work, Matthew maintains an active lifestyle and brings an entrepreneurial mindset to everything he does. He values integrity, long‑term relationships, and providing advice that delivers clarity and confidence for his clients.
