Giving Back

Giving meaning to money

Our purpose is to enrich the lives of our people, clients and community. Over the years, this has led us to support the charities and causes that are closest to them.

Supporting the community

Working together, we make a far greater impact

Our giving program aims to contribute to the protection, education and health of society’s most needy and vulnerable including children, women and the homeless.

Fitzpatricks Advice Partners, in collaboration with our people, clients and businesses partners, have proudly supported the following charities.

ozharvest

OzHarvest

OzHarvest is Australia’s leading food rescue organisation, saving surplus food from ending up in landfill and delivering it to feed people in need.

With a mission to ‘Nourish our Country’, OzHarvest has delivered over 250 million meals since its inception in 2004.

The charity operates in Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Cairns, Canberra, Melbourne, Newcastle and Perth, and through a passionate team of volunteers in regional communities.

KOTO

KOTO – Know One, Teach One

KOTO was borne out of one Australian man’s desire to provide nine street children in Vietnam with hospitality training, a steady income and a safe workplace.

From this humble start, KOTO has since provided over 1,200 disadvantaged and at-risk youth with an opportunity to improve their lives by undertaking a holistic hospitality training program to end the cycle of poverty and realise their dreams. Across Vietnam, KOTO alumni can be found in leading hotels and restaurants, and running their own small businesses.

embrace

Embrace People & Place

Embrace People & Place was established by the Ian & Shirley Norman Foundation and is rethinking the way vulnerable people and support services share space together.

Based in Newcastle and focused on the city’s most vulnerable people, Embrace People & Place has established a model of service in which they collaborate with a wide variety of partners focusing on place-based projects that tackle social exclusion (from food security, employment, transport, through to homelessness) in the Hunter Region.
