Australian Wealth Leaders Unite Under Advice Professionalism Banner

Fitzpatricks Private Wealth today announced the appointment of respected wealth management professionals Mr Chris Cuffe and Mr John McMurdo to its Board of Directors, ahead of plans to extend the group’s national footprint and deepen its services to Australia’s high net worth investors.

Fitzpatricks Group Founder Scott Fitzpatrick welcomed Mr Cuffe to the position of Non- Executive Director, and Mr McMurdo in the role of Group Managing Director.

“Chris and John are two highly distinguished industry executives. We are delighted they have chosen to join the Fitzpatricks Group and build on the success that our firm has enjoyed over the past 25 years.

“Today’s announcement not only endorses our hard work building the firm, it represents a potent signal of our future attention to quality and a continued client focus. This is positive news for our staff, our advisers, and valued clients,” Mr Fitzpatrick said.

Mr McMurdo said: “Today’s announcement brings together the right people at the right time and for the right reasons. Australia’s financial advice future is currently in a state of high flux – with various people opting for either end of a heavily weighted barbell. We’ve chosen the quality, professional service end, and see a very bright future based on this clear perspective.

“In Fitzpatricks Private Wealth we have chosen carefully. Due diligence shows me this firm has a reputation for being “the best top end wealth management group” in Australia.

“I have been impressed by the strong, moral and ethical compass of Fitzpatricks coupled with the firm’s impeccable professional standards, world-class advice process and a proven portfolio construction record.

“These are the minimum elements expected by sophisticated clients, yet there remains too few such firms servicing this end of the advice market” Mr McMurdo said.

Fitzpatricks has a strong Brisbane and Sydney presence with offices in other major cities. Plans are being developed to expand the firm’s national presence based on strict admittance criteria. The firm models itself on a professional services ethos with high expectations on professional standards and client care.

The professional networks of Mr Cuffe and Mr McMurdo are expected to accelerate the group’s already strong growth record.

Mr Cuffe said: “I have a passion to see advice and wealth management delivered for Australians in the professional manner it should be. Fitzpatricks Private Wealth continues to dedicate itself to that endeavor.”
