Dear Glen, Will and Everyone at Fitzpatricks Newcastle,
Our only regret is we wish we’d met you earlier! We were unhappy with the performance of our industry super fund and didn’t realise there was an alternative. After a discussion with our accountant, who provided some selections, we decided to meet with Fitzpatrick’s. Glen and Will walked us through our options and outlined a plan for our remaining working years with a vision to future retirement. We thought we needed a lot more in super savings than we had to take advantage of the Fitzpatrick’s services but were reassured by Glen that they could help us to plan our future.
Everything was considered as part of our consultations including wills, beneficiaries and advanced health care plans. It was a bit busy at the start but when we finally put everything in place it was a relief.
We have attended briefings hosted by Fitzpatricks which have helped us understand the vagaries of the national and international markets. We are confident that we know where our money is invested and why.
Will is now our personal advisor and understands our circumstances closely. Not only does he have regular meetings with us, he is quick to respond to phone calls and emails. He knows our family and values and this means that when we have wanted to make significant lifestyle changes such as moving home and buying a holiday house he was able to provide financial advice that matched our personal aspirations.
We are constantly surprised at the lifestyle we now have in retirement. Our funds have accumulated over our last working years and we are now reaping the benefits. We are realistic and understand that the markets are fluid, but we are confident in the choices we have made and look forward to Fitzpatrick’s supporting us into the future.
David and Ann-Maree Kelly
